How to use

The science behind the shot
A peer-reviewed pilot study in Frontiers in Nutrition (Clayton et al., 2023) tested the Raw Turmeric Original Shot in 24 elite male footballers, with half drinking two shots a day across eight competitive matches. What it found:
- Players taking the shots reported noticeably less muscle soreness, in both the legs and across the whole body, throughout the study.
- Their blood showed significantly lower C-reactive protein, a marker of inflammation, 64 hours after matches.
- Markers of direct muscle damage, jump height and leg strength were unchanged.
It was the first study in elite footballers to suggest a daily turmeric shot may help with post-match soreness between sessions, though as a small, unblinded pilot study, it should be seen as an encouraging early signal rather than the final word. The Turmeric Co. had no role in collecting or interpreting the data.
