Dopamine actually plays a huge role in helping us to feel motivated, meaning low levels in the brain can quickly lead to feelings of helplessness and dissatisfaction. Turmeric is a natural and easy way to give the chemicals in your brain a boost, which can help to keep things in balance and lessen your chances of experiencing erratic mood swings.

You may not suffer from depression or anxiety disorders, but that doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from the mood boosting benefits of turmeric. If you’re in a bad mood a lot or going through a period of emotional stress, then your immune system can suffer and you’ll more than likely get ill a lot more than when you’re happy and stress-free.
