Raw Turmeric Vitamin C & D3 Shot!

Liposomal Formula
What is liposomal vitamin C?
Studies have shown that vitamin C delivered via a liposomal formula has greater bioavailability and, as such, makes a bigger impact. Liposomes are made up of fatty acids and ultimately limit the body’s natural resistance to nutrients.
By using a liposomal formula, the Raw Turmeric Vitamin C & D3 shot maximises absorption, which means you’re getting the most potent vitamin C and D3 shot possible! Find out more about The Science behind the product.

Faqs
What Does Vitamin C Do?
Otherwise known as ascorbic acid, Vitamin C serves multiple purposes. Most notably it works to protect cells against ‘free radicals’, which lead to cancer and other diseases. Vitamin C also helps to maintain healthy skin, bones and cartilage, while at the same time aiding healing from wounds. Simply put, it plays a pivotal role in keeping our bodies functioning properly.
How Much Vitamin C Do I Need a Day?
There’s a lot of conflicting information about the recommended daily dosage of Vitamin C. According to the NHS, adults aged between 19 and 64 need to consume a minimum of 40mg of Vitamin C a day. However, this is the lowest requirement. There are no set guidelines on the upper limit of Vitamin C usage, but intravenous doses (more than 90% absorption) of up to 4,000mg per day have been used to treat numerous ailments with great effect.
What Are the Best Foods for Vitamin C?
You can be forgiven for thinking of oranges as soon as Vitamin C is mentioned, but there are a lot of other virus-fighting foods that carry high vitamin C content too. This includes: Tomatoes, Strawberries, Kiwi fruit, Red peppers There’s also a number of Vitamin C-rich foods that may surprise you, most notably: Potatoes, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts , Cabbage. The Turmeric Co.’s Vitamin drink is designed to fit seamlessly into your healthy, balanced diet and is perfect for those who lack the time to prepare and cook time-consuming meals each day.
What is Vitamin D3 Good for?
Vitamin D3 helps your body to absorb calcium and those with a deficiency can suffer from bone issues. It can also benefit the immune system, warding off infections and illnesses. Various studies have found a link between Vitamin D and improved mood, and while far more research is needed, it has been suggested that the Vitamin could be an effective treatment for depression.
What’s the Difference Between Vitamin D and D3?
This is a question that is commonly asked. It’s important to remember that Vitamin D is a family of nutrients, consisting of Vitamins D2 (ergocalciferol) and D3 (cholecalciferol). Both components of Vitamin D work in much the same way but have different molecular structures.
What’s the Recommended Dose of Vitamin D3?
Similar to Vitamin C, there’s a lot of debate about the recommended daily dosage of Vitamin D3. The National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE) suggests a guideline daily dosage of 400 IU (10 micrograms) for adults. However, according to the BMJ, hundreds of doctors and scientists have recommended much higher dosages of Vitamin D3 (up to 4,000 IU) to combat viruses.
Which Foods Contain Vitamin D3?
While Vitamin D is widely known as the “sunshine Vitamin” because it is formed in the skin having been derived from sunlight, Vitamin D3 can be specifically taken from a range of foods – most commonly those from animal sources. Rich sources of Vitamin D3 include: Oily fish, Eggs, Cod liver oil , Dairy items such as butter
Does turmeric powder have the same nutritional benefit as the root?
Although dried turmeric might make a great addition to a curry or tea, its nutritional content has been found to be far inferior to that of the fresh root. This is down to the increased levels of the active ingredient ‘curcumin’ found in the root. In order to get the same benefit you would from one of our shots, you would have to eat far more of the powder than would be realistic as part of a balanced diet.
